The National Museum of China implements a free real-name reservation system for all visitors. The following are the specific free reservation methods:
First, the reservation channel
The official website of the National Museum of China: Visit the official website of the National Museum of China, find the “Visit Reservation” entry on the homepage or in the relevant section, and follow the prompts to make a reservation.
The official APP of the National Museum of China: Download and install the APP of the National Museum of China, and make an appointment through the “Visit Reservation” function within the APP.
The wechat official account of the National Museum: Follow the wechat official account of the National Museum, find the “Visit Reservation” option in the menu bar, and make a reservation according to the prompts.
The wechat mini-program of the National Museum: Search for the “National Museum” mini-program in wechat, and follow the prompts to make a reservation after entering.
Second, the reservation steps
Real-name authentication: Complete the real-name authentication of the reservation account using a valid identification document.
Select the reservation date and time slot: According to your personal itinerary, choose the appropriate visiting date and time slot. The National Museum is divided into three reservation entry periods each day: 9:00-11:00, 11:00-13:30, 그리고 13:30-16:00 (the third period from June 1st to October 31st is 13:30-16:30).
Fill in the reservation information: including the name of the visitor, ID number, 등. Each account can make appointments for up to 5 people at a time, add up to 10 frequently used contacts, and the changes cannot be made within 30 days. Each account can make a maximum of one reservation per natural week.
Submit the reservation application: After confirming that the information is correct, submit the reservation application.
Receive a successful reservation notification: After a successful reservation, the system will automatically send a successful reservation message notification. Please keep it properly.
Third, precautions
Advance reservation: Audience members can make a reservation up to 7 days in advance. Tickets will be released at 17:00 every day. It is recommended to set the alarm clock in advance and get the tickets on time.
On time to enter the museum: On the day of the visit, visitors must present their original reservation ID and successful reservation information, and queue up in an orderly manner at the north gate visitor entrance for verification and entry according to the reserved time slot. Visitors who have not made a reservation, whose identification information does not match, or who have missed the reserved time slot will not be able to be verified for entry.
Refund policy: The refund deadline is 15:00 on the day of the visit. Even if a ticket is refunded after a reservation, it will still be counted towards the number of reservations. If each reservation account fails to fulfill its obligations three times within one year, it will be restricted from making reservations for 30 days.
Special groups: Minors under the age of 14 (inclusive) must be reserved by an adult on their behalf and be verified for entry at the same time as the person making the reservation. Senior citizens aged 60 and above (inclusive), people with disabilities, active-duty military personnel, veterans, and families of martyrs and military personnel can enter the museum through the green channel at the north gate within the reserved time slot by presenting their original reservation documents, successful reservation information, and preferential certificates.
