The trees on both sides of the Great Wall are ablaze with colors, and the red leaves are like fire, complementing the ancient Great Wall and forming a splendid and colorful picture. Especially in the section of the city wall between the North Tenth Tower and the Eleventh Tower, the red-leaf trees are mainly Acer truncatum. The pentagonal leaves combined with the geometric outline of the city wall’s crenments make the Great Wall look magnificent and imposing.
